Piazza Sempione’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, as presented on February 25th during Milan fashion week, draws inspiration from the visual refinement of the Art Deco movement, expressing the elegance and femininity of the season through a creative rhythm of graphic prints and geometric shapes. A modern blend of green and black is evident throughout the collection, as seen in alpaca and mohair checked bouclé coats and skirts, and in the asymmetrical lines and sinuous curves of pleated jersey, silk and wool fluid dresses.
The February 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar US presents three looks form Piazza Sempione 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection: black cady blouse and silk pink paillete skirt; cotton faille black and white flower lace print blouse and wide-legged trousers and red leather belt with metal detailing; black technical cotton parka with cotton faile flower print shirt and skirt.
