Short Hills

We opened our first store in the Unites States in November 2007 at the acclaimed Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey.

The concept, by architect Paola Navone, is based on understated luxury expressed through simple shapes combined with extremely sophisticated and refined materials and details, a play on contrasts between classic and contemporary shapes, handmade and industrial elements, opaque and shiny surfaces.

Wide vertical stripes in a pale and opaque shade of grey characterise the space, enforcing its strong visual impact. Multicolored buttons cover the screen-like panels, small tools in white porcelain and club chairs covered in Piazza Sempione fabrics create a relaxing sitting area.

Light is diffused by large oval hanging lamps giving a gentle and effective luminosity that showcases the clothing emphasizing details of fabrics.
