Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Presentation

On Sunday February 27th 2011 Piazza Sempione presented the new Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection in the extraordinary location La Casa dei Demoni, a 750square meter private residence in an original 15th century palazzo in the center of Milan.

This special location, boasting original frescoes, ornate paneling, intricate wood parquet flooring, abat-jours, candles and fireplaces best expressed the mood and concept of this season’s collection, inspired by the discovery of lost beauty and entitled “Back Home: A Tale of Beauty and Poetry.”

An artful showcase was specifically conceived, a Mise en Scène throughout four rooms, creating a dreamlike atmosphere of a late 19th century home where the clothes mixed effortlessly with the scenery in a magical setting. Sheets draped over furniture, dry leaves on the ground, and models mingling, playing cards, reading books, flipping through magazines or dreamily resting. The sophisticated elegance that has always characterized the Piazza Sempione woman shown through, and was particularly visible in the fil coupe bustier dress with built in black jersey Tshirt and the cashmere dress and coat with gazaar inserts.
