Elephant Parade Milan

Piazza Sempione is happy to support the first edition of the Elephant Parade in Milan, collaborating with artist Benedetta Mori Ubaldini for the realization of the statue “Elephant Boy”.The Elephant Parade benefits The Asian Elephant Foundation, and is a project combining art and charity involving national and international artists in the creation of 80 baby elephant life-size statues, exhibited throughout the city.“Elephant Boy” is a poetic interpretation of the age of innocence, where the blue elephant carries on his back three metal wire sculptures representing a pink child, a young green sparrow that looks to the future and an old yellow blackbird symbolizing wisdom. The 80 Elephant Parade Milan statues will be auctioned off for charity by Christies Milan on November 22nd during an exclusive Gala evening at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio.
