20TH Anniversary Event and SS2012 Capsule Collection Presentation

Piazza Sempione celebrated its 20th anniversary during the Spring/Summer 2012 Milan shows in the prestigious Palazzo Cusani, an historical building dating back to the 1600s located in the heart of the Brera district. The location was the ideal backdrop for both the anniversary party and presentation of the capsule collection specially designed by Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi to mark this important milestone.

Striking a perfect balance between the past and the future, the 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection re-interprets the brand’s history values and iconic looks. Piazza Sempione’s core elements – sharp tailoring, stretch materials and clean shapes – were reworked by Aquilano and Rimondi in a modern way, displaying their tailoring skills, passion for fabrics and sense of color. The resulting collection exudes a polished elegance and a sophisticated attitude.
